Warren Tech - stay strong

Stay strong. I work in Pontiac but have friends all over. I heard WT is a blood bath right now and managers getting the axe left and right.

Agree saw some of the most talented people get escorted out the door this week. Not sure Mary Barra will hit a bullseye with electric car strategy. Things to consider a coal fired electrical plant is only 18% efficient, so we lose 72% efficiency in power conversion. Michigan is sitting on the largest natural gas discovery in history maybe that would have been a better choice. Then finally is our electrical grid ready for all those electric vehicles? Probably not I think.

So could it be that they want Mark Reuss to be the new CEO, and are just giving Mary and her new glory CFO enough rope to hang themselves and be walked out the front door like the rest?

I did we forget that Trump told her don't do it - or I will remove the tax credits???

Not strange. Why pay quality to do it right once, when you can pay inferiors three times, to do it right? It's all about how much you get paid. GM is trying to accomplish the most, with the least.

You don't have to put much thought into this. Some of the most talented are escorted out the door, leaving behind the cheapest and most inferior talent upon the market. They're attempting to acquire the most possible, a gamble, for the lowest price possible.

It's very transparent.

In the past GM used these as opportunities to remove workers that displeased them for one reason or another.

Not so this time as some top performers are getting cut, the type of people that you you build your business with. Very sad! Very strange!
