I see higher-level executives kids, who were hired because their daddy's work there, are still employed. I've worked with two of them and they have been worthless. GM is still the "club".

The exec kids thing is really bad PR, and certainly unfair when highly qualified people who have contributed are let go. If they are still three Monday, send their daddies' names to the Free Press and the NYT.
Maybe it was just in my circle, but I noticed that the business element seems to carry a lot of youthful high level leadership. I imagine lots of influence on the leadership decisions, but no practical knowledge or skill set at the floor level.
