i have of many DRE getting laid off.
They will be targeting engineers who use too many abbreviations, or those who use them without first writing out the entire title prior to abbreviating it later as they should have been instructed in a decent engineering school.
I would like to know this as well. I am DRE and still no update on my job or anything from my egm. Every day is tough. I work in release team with my team mostly consist of DREs. No layoff in my team so far.
