Rumor is an Enterprise announcement is coming 2/11 - 2/13. Anyone hearing the same thing? Accelerating office closings?

I was a claim rep for over 26 years when I retired. I now work in an agent's office and half the time I have to call claims to get them to follow up with the policy holder and do a correct investigation. I do not think the word ""investigation" is in the vocabulary anymore. I still have my own personal autos and ho with the farm but the minute my agent retires or I stop working with him part time I am going to switch to another top rated company, I remember when we were number two only to USAA but now we are ranked 7th or 8th with JD Power in the claims area, which is just above average. I have our new motto, State Farm, Just above average. Sad...

Since we were told last August we would be closing this August, and we were supposed to have the finalized QTD and find out for sure if we were going to get severance in November, then in November they told they would tell us in February...well guess what it's February....and WE ARE ALL WAITING ON PINS AND NEEDLES.

Now in our office we have CA's and CS's, we are pretty sure the CS's will be getting severance. Now the CA's we aren't a given we will be getting severance since we are basically seen as the red headed step children, even though they ride us way harder than they do the CS's...they got rid of the points for the CS's but not the CA's for example.

So when the SM comes this Tuesday for the meeting we will be expecting an announcement.

Now we have been told they don't know anything and are just coming to talk, this has us ALL very concerned they are about to screw us CA's out of severance..and they are just stringing us along because they kinda of need us, we are very seasoned employees in that office.

Now SF is having a very hard time finding people that want to work for them...probably because they read sites like this and glass door and realize just what a horrible place SF is to work, and they are correct SF is a horrible to work if you work in claims...

Does SF really want to screw us CA's out of severance? Talk about the negative impact that is going to have on them and does SF want to keep stringing us along and not keep their word and not make the announcement like they promised they would back in November?

Does SF want to further prove they can't be trusted? If the employees can't trust SF what makes you think policy holders can????

hhmmmm....I dont work for SF anymore, but my friend keeps calling me, leaving vague messages about nothing, and now emailed me to call 'em tomorrow. I wonder if something is going down that wants to be discussed real bad and this must be it. LOL

Let me see here, our SM and another person, don't remember their title, will coming to our office 2/12/19, we are an office that is supposed to close on 08/31/19. Two people from every team are supposed to go to the meeting with them....which I thought was just plain odd that they would have a meeting with us anyway, we are closing why do they even care about what we think, they never have before and now suddenly they care...yeah right. So I figured their presence has something to do with an announcement, I mean why else would they come?

We are supposed to hear in February the finalized signed sealed and delivered QTD date, severance and all that...we are all hoping they close our office EARLIER than 8/31/19. None of us would be sad it they did close it early, we are not looking forward to handling 38 states with very little training...

Think things were bad before? Gonna be a one big huge poo show in claims now.
