Wellness program

I was on the phone with GM benefits and wellness at different times. Neither of them could tell me when the wellness program ends for us, that are separated from the company. As of now, I can submit my wellness documentation to get the $1500 for HSA. But my physical isn't paid for until March. So I'm trying to find out that date that the wellness is terminated. Has anyone figured that out yet?

Kroger has physical for like 40 bucks or less. That is all you need. Actually all you need to do is sign that you had it done. No need for a doctor to sign anything this year. Fyi...... Check the site.

Took the VSP, got a preventative physical January 2 and the $1500 was added to my account Jan 31st. Per the info from health benefits package, you get 100% covered preventative visit per calendar year. Doesn't matter if it's been a full year since the last one.

i went to minute clinic cost $60, 23 days later it hit my account if that helps. Pay out of pocket its worth the $1500 tax free dollars

Really, ok, that was what I was wondering about. My year is in March and 1 physical is 300 bucks. So my dilemma was do I pay 600 ish out of pocket to get 1500. I know the math works but 600 out of pocket isn't chump change. I should probably confirm with BCBS. As of now, the Wellness folks said I was still enrolled and should submit ASAP.

BCBS will pay every calendar year-not year to date.

I plan on getting my physical and submitting it before the end of the month, even if I have to pay for the physical so I can receive the $1500.

You don’t have to wait a full year anymore to do that. As long as the verbiage says “1 per year” it doesn’t matter when you get it.
