Time and time again I see on this dumb site: "Layoffs coming on (date) tell everyone!! "
This "Town Hall" will just be like the others.
No Layoffs - No bad news. Just TT bringing up this years goals just like he did in previous Town Halls.
You all just get too excited and like to stir up the drama pot.
Tell that to the rest of us that have been cut with no warning at all. Sept. of 2017 people that had been with the company for 30+ years were cut with no explaination except that their jobs have been eliminated. I personally wound up with a better job with a better company so worked out for me but not sure how the rest wound up. Windstream is definitly no a good place to work. Anyone can be cut at any moment.
No raises for the 3rd year in a row. TT stated the only way to make more money is to be promoted.
Key teams, who managed network growth, that were running on the bare minimum amount of people have lost positions or the entire team is being transitioned to India.
People still in place are disillusioned by the layoffs and extra work load so productivity is going to slow down even more.
Luckily, the talent leaving is not having any issues landing jobs at larger and more stable companies.
But this all excitement and drama, its not really happening. LOL!
Not exactly true about just stirring up the pot. Dubba T and his boys read this site and have tried to mix it up lately.

They are intentionally trying to not be as predictable as they have been on the past. But don't think for a minute that another huge slash to keep the cash isn't just over the horizon.

I just need to know how much effort to put forth in 2019. No decent raise means less effort. No drama just the facts. 2019 clock is ticking and until I get a substantial raise for all the years without one I will keep my efforts tempered. Rah rah
