Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Ambassador Program. Will they Bring it Back with all the layoffs?

Ambassador Program. Will they bring it back to sell cars? I heard in Detroit they cancelled it because people rented them out to friends who destroyed the cars. Is that true?

To solve the Ambassador abuse problem, tell anyone getting the car if there's any abuse, they will be fired and $1000 will be deducted from their final check.

I bet they'll be more careful than before.

Sr Mgr here -- there are some talks about bringing back a similar program. Very early stages. Bggest problem before was abusing the cars. A few people ruined the program

My director mentioned at one point that there were talks to bring something similar to it back.

If you recall the timing of the cancellation of the ambassador program, it was right before GM acquired Cruise. And in a time of where “free cash flow” is priority, I highly doubt they would bring it back. I guess you could cross your fingers, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it.
