It started first thing in the GIC. Didnt take them long to let me go. But the rumors about the package is true. And apparently my team is being gutted like crazy. Some thought we'd be safe since we're on a revenue generating project but nope. It was all done by the numbers.
What's happening in Austin? Has there been a lot of people affected? I heard it's supposed to be completed today in Austin.
It's never done. I went through this in 1991. You will never feel secure at GM. Take layoff and skills and get out of auto industry now. It's a roller coaster.
It was confirmed by GM to be two weeks.
