Don't let GM define your worth

Your job at GM doesn't define your worth in this world. You are a human being placed on this planet for a reason. Don't let this difficult time make you question your worth. God loves you and sent his son to die for you. You're worth it.

Of course your job defines your fiat worth in the world. It defines the house you live in, the car you drive, the college you send your kids to, etc...

Now if we're talking the value of an individual, of course that's different.

I think at the end of the day, so long as the employer is respectable to it's employees, and bills can be paid, food placed on the table, and kids sent to college, does it really matter whom you wh--e yourself out to for a paycheck? GM is only a part time pimp in the long game of life.

Your earning power, is your financial value in this world.

Your job defines you, cannot avoid it.

Now, dont let GM run circles around you - that's a valid statement but your job (or lack of it) will always define you. I am fairly confident that a HUGE majority of folks I work with will not ever had problems finding a good job. May take a while but typically folks around here are sharp and skilled. My two cents only, judging on my observations/experience and have no hard data to back it up.
