I'll be looking for another job but not because of GM or the current situation, but because of some of the threads here. I'm going to tell my supervisor to read them as well.

You're all talented professional people , absolutely Marry will be on a beach regardless. They are more than pleased to see is turn against eachother , we are all letting off steam as real GM people on this site. At the end of the day we are professional and the best in the world. They love the fact we are infighting just having the time of their lives see the bottom feeders turn on eachother. With all of our talents and money combined maybe we can start our own business and put GM out of business! Easier said than done. Hey original poster... I wouldn't quit over the stupid id--ts that are posting racist garbage on this site. As mentioned, they probably don't even work at GM. I am a white male and I actually have never heard any of my GM coworkers spout off any of this kind of junk at GM, privately or publicly.

Actually I am glad you are leaving it gives me joy to know that somewhere a team wouldn't have to work with someone as weak minded as yourself. So much so that they "report" a website to their supervisor. You should feel embarrassed.
FWIW I am leaving because of the uncertainty at GM
Also.. there are a lot of hard truths posted here. It’s clear that a number of employees are in fact posting along with the trolls, and a number of them voice legitimate concerns. Wouldn’t hurt for leadership to hear them.
Remember, all: GM layoffs are receiving a lot of publicity, and there’s no shortage of people who love stirring sh-- up on sites like these. All it takes is googling GM + layoffs to find. I have a great deal of respect and affinity for my coworkers, and I believe that the same holds true for the overwhelming majority of them as well.

You will find that shoot from the hip Mary, who's 20 million dollar income, cares not. Whether GM goes belly up in a year or two, she'll be on a beach regardless.
