Time to admit Austin is a step-child and we really need to cut them loose. No need to have a complex so remote to the tech center which is full of millennials running around with nose rings. We should sell that operation to the first bid and save ourselves billions.

There are some pretty good HP people here in Austin. I have noticed a difference between the HP alum that are generally pretty good versus the Dell flunkies. I think a lot of the Dell folks have been hiding behind their Dell managers while learning IT on the job for the last 5 yrs. I think MI IT will get hard, but wonder if you'll see a Dell exodus here as well.
Time to get rid of the Dell Mafia and close that whole place down. Make all IT management reside in Warren or Detroit where the HQ is. Really spinning off EDS back in 1996 was one of the worst things GM ever did. IT should have been insourced then.
Baby boomers out here making 170k a year and can't rotate a PDF...
The next generation of children will pass right by millennials. They won’t tolerate what millennials allow and don’t need your affirmation.
Working in Austin and reading about our millennials with noise rings, I have one thing to say.
Bless your heart.
Millennials: A demographic group that would rather stare at their phone than drive a car - yet want to work at a car company. Pretty clear who the leeches are.
You seem pretty threatened by people who are different than you. You’ll be dead soon though, baby boomer. And the economy you screwed up won’t be a concern when you’re 6ft under. In the meantime we will continue to replace you because we are willing to be trained and learn new things. And for a fraction of the price. Because pets face it who wants to pay for an employee 140k with no degree who sits there and complains about kid’s these days.
What about Az?
