i got a director at MIC that needs to have been walked out years ago
Management is terrible from mary down to the lowest first line manager.
And there are way too many managers, which makes the bureaucracy worse.
The more management that goes, the better
A better question -- do you see this director purge as positive or negative? I have been surprised by the lack of talent in my own group from Director on down. Some surprisingly inept decisions based on their claimed years of GM tenure & experience, and some outrageous behavior. Wondering if it's a personal lack of talent or the stress of turning the IT profession into a digital sweatshop.
Concur. I've heard of one for sure in Atlanta, one for sure in Detroit. When I say for sure it's people I've worked with, removed from org charts. Director level both... OP I think we are talking same person at your location.
