Our team was asked to meet on Tuesday, attendance in person.
Anyone else have similar?
Could it be post-layoff aftermath meeting or could it be the day with part with the company?

Advance warning so rare rare they will get rid of your a-- if they think they don’t need you this is a paid job this is the company trying to make money your services are needed today and tomorrow they may not need your services
There seems to be two camps of people
-those who have a 1:1 meeting, most likely the axe
-those who have an entire early morning team meeting, ??
During BK, we were all brought into a conference room three separate times - each time being told “OK, it’s over. You’re all safe.” In between, they let go of additional people.
Don’t forget that you still live in a free country. Globalist Government Motors isn’t the only place to earn a living to support your family in the United States. There are a lot of IT jobs and many more manufacturing jobs out there. #FreePeople. #ThereIsNoSpoon
The meeting is with my manager (who is not a director) for the 7:30 am 1:1, but given that it is a video conference and my (id--t) Director is located in Austin, it kind of adds up. I anticipate that HR or someone from a contract company hired for the layoffs will be there, although the invite does not include anyone, but HR meetings rarely have any additional information in the invite the person gets.

I was told to be in the office at 7:30 am for a 1 on 1, and it's on the opposite side of the building in a video conference room. I think that is about as clear as it can be, and frankly just happen to be done with all this dramatics finally!
