This is for those in the UPC. Original target was 10% but Mr CN himself has pushed for 20% this go around. Not sure what the packages were the last time; only heard they would be the same.

Guys look on the bright side, Lance Fritz made 11 million dollars last year and he’s doing fine.
You aren’t a peeon and it is awful how UP has treated their craft employees. I’m sorry this is happening to you. You all are doing the work and get treated disrespectfully. UP hides behind collective bargaining for these situations, it a true garbage decision for garbage company ran by garbage people.
At least y'all are getting something for being laid off. Us peeons craft workers won't get a damn thing other than empty your locker and get the f--- out.
Lying Lance Fritz has about the same ability to tell the truth as Beth Whited has to convey confidence in her decisions. I don’t want to see layoffs but the fact is that leadership does have a plan and conditions are not going to improve. Go to work, earn your pay, and figure out a plan to get away. If you stay figure out how to play their stupid game. I have transitioned into a new role at another Fortune 500 after being dismissed in October. UP doesn’t have the prestige you’ve been led on to believe. Ironically, my new role requires me to deal with UP and part of the hiring requiremets are to analyze rail pricing and dispute billing errors. Be humble, know your skills, and keep an open mind.
There was a townhall with network planning and Lance said no major layoffs at UPC in February.
Getting a package alright.....now, let’s discuss severance. Oh.
