Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

The writing is on the wall

So now the company has decided to change the as-is policy to no coupons and no refunds. If that isn’t a clear sign of a struggling company trying to recoup any money they can then I don’t know what is. Layoffs 2019 are coming soon!!

Ok, 20% off TRASH.

If it makes that much of a difference on junk already marked out of stock how bad is that?

Btw, less returns also can mean less sales.....hmmm, sound like any stores.

Oh yeah, less hours BUT you can count on more work!

This is nothing we (employees) haven't felt was needed for a long time! The return policy was ridiculous and you know it.

I agree with the new as is policy. You shouldn’t get a discount on something that is already marked down so much. As is should be final sale.

We have seen a big reduction in returns since the new return policy.

All of this isn’t going to help the failing brick and mortar retailer. Ecom is the answer. Speed up the shipping window. Simplify the on line return process to keep the stores not involved.
