Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

We lost so many already

Not sure about other teams and departments, but we have lost so many people already that I honestly have no idea how we'll function if we lose one more person. But does the management care? Of course not. We will be expected to pick up even more work, which for once, is not going to work. What happens then, I don't know.

Has anybody been in a similar situation?

Hear it's coming with the earnings announcement (Feb15). Let's see what kind of spalshes Ramon chooses to make on his first earnings call...

As for IT, TaTa is supposed to be a complete IT solution. So all IT, at some point, will be gone. For now, it's about delayering. For PBC field, there is a huge ReOrg coming. I'm hearing it is all happening after SB. Stay strong everyone.

Yes, from an IT/Corp Team that took a Hl sizeable hit last year as far as resources, and can't afford another loss.

If all the rumors are true, at some point, PepsiCo runs greater risk than work just not getting done.

Yes. Supply chain, strategy, finance, IT, GTM at HQ - all areas where I've heard that there are a lack of people resources to execute on tasks/work needing to be done

Btw, this is all for PBC - can't speak to the other BUs
