We all got laid off in a conference call today..

75 people or so today in a conference call, got fired i was one of them. We lost a huge account due to Acosta's poor management skills. We had a couple of CEO'S in the past 2 1/2 years i have been there.
And company debt is a huge issue with this company. So we all got TERMINATED, we have till 13 feb to work. And that's the last day i will be an employee for them. This is a company that really does not care about its workforce. The people that actually do the ground work, we got discarded like it was a normal day at the office after years of working for them.
And then even they told us "There are a FEW jobs available on Acosta.com so apply" i bowed out of the meeting, as the rest they had to tell me was totally a waste of my time.
But i am positive, i will find something else before the axe falls.
For new people that are looking for a job? Do not EXPECT stability, a soon as one of your accounts is lost? You'll be out of a job simple.
You will not see a raise ever, and communication is horrendous. The only positive thing i can say? Benefits were "OKAY" and my manager is a fantastic guy.
