you forget @XjkUFAV-1csz were moving away from building cars, welcome to the future
When can we get back to making kick a-- cars again like in the 60s and 70s and focus on our products instead of a horrific horror show? I'm a car guy and for me our leaders can't ever take that away from me , I love our past history and designs , we at GM are supposed to serve the public by giving them our absolute best and I am ready for the leadership to stop behaving like spoiled dramatic children now , I feel like they don't want us to deliver good products anymore to our fellow Americans and our good neighbors to the North in Canada , how is all of this helping the company grow ? Now everyone is unproductive , angry and scared! How is this good corporate stewardship and winning with integrity? I'm a car guy , engine , transmission technician , our leaders will not kill my spirit and love for what GM in my mind means to me , The Corvette , Trans AM , Camaro , Man I miss my colleagues and touching parts ,my Job! :-( This has got to stop now.
Managers are better at hiding the fear, because it’s sort of part of their job to try to prevent morale from going to heck.
The GMIT managers are also largely people with experience in the tech industry that have been through lay-offs before. They’re doing the same things worker-bees are, polishing resumes at least and actively searching if they’re concerned.
I would say more so. That's mostly who got the vsp letters.
Managers are fair game the same as us, even more so because of their salaries
nah, management is concerned, too
