Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Do you have to repay the GM IT Bonus after Resignation?

I know there is a lot of talk about whether people will get an annual bonus if you are laid off it seems 50/50 both ways give or take. But let's say I did not get laid off and I decide to resign right after the date. Is there anything in the contract that says you would have to pay the bonus back?

I know this might be a dumb question but I can find nothing on Socrates clarifying anything about the GM bonus details nor do I have my employee contract.

No, you would not return your bonus. The bonus is earned for the previous year's work. Once it is paid, it's no different than salary.
