Where's Jim young when you need him. At least that man knew business started with employees, he had a job because of and respected the workforce. It's been years but does the slogan about employees still exist at corporate? Or has it been removed and replaced by photos of the execs to honor and praise their narcissism like the gods they think they are.

Could stand to get rid of a few in the North Platte car department mismanagement team. They can't seem to figure out that running the place with strong arm tactics is more counter productive than anything. Give us the tools and PPE to do our jobs safely, and we'll get the work done. Going around and coaching people all the time only causes hate and discontent.

Most of upper management are not qualified and their degrees are a joke. The UPRR business degrees they pay for to make it look like they are all qualified is the biggest joke of them all.
Givens is the most unqualified id--t in a position he doesn't deserve. Nepotism is alive and well in upper management. Cameron Scott was bad enough, but throw Givens in the mix and you complete the circle of the toilet drain.
If you know Givens he can’t spell or use the English language. Got a mail in degree from University of Phoenix and a UP paid quickly MBA at Harvard.

Field rumor that 400+ Mgmt. positions are being chopped next Monday... U.P. has already started with the 2020 plan, and knocked the hell out of labor class employees with layoffs... Right after hiring many of the folks, less than 3 months ago, with $5k-$20k hiring bonuses !!!! I work for U.P. and this place has become a real despicable corporate sh-- show.. I'm ready to retire and enjoy life... God bless all of those layer off, and their families..
