It's been a while since I've last heard about a location closing. While I know that would usually be considered good news, I'm starting to worry that this might be the calm before the storm.
Am I worrying for nothing? I know everything points to us doing better lately, but I'm really not noticing it at my center.
Acceptance Now is being replaced by Progressive in all American Signature Furniture and Value City Furniture stores in the Chicago and Atlanta areas. It’s supposedly a test run to see how well Progressive works in the two biggest markets but I don’t believe it. We have 10 American Signature stores in the Atlanta area and with all the shut downs, I have a feeling the districts will get realigned again and some of our DMs will be laid off.
