Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

GE’s world of restructuring far from over

More cuts and job losses are on the way for Greenville and Schenectady. It’s only a matter of time before the gauntlet swings at full tilt for the shores. As the sinking ship will become submerged by a tidal wave. Get those resumes ready.

Lammas’ last email was pretty clear that the reorg in Engineering is going to result in cuts. He mentioned “consultations where required”, etc. It should be no surprise to anyone when it hits. I expect the heads to start rolling shortly after the earnings report 1/31, but that’s pure speculation.

Did SEB say it would be in January?

GE is always planning layoffs. Millennials replaced many Greenville employees. Pay attention to how many millennials now sit in the cubicles of recently layed off GE employees. The cheaper salaries will come at a cost due to inexperience and work life balance mentalities.

Welcome to GE Greenville, home of the largest group of unqualified a-- kissers below the Mason Dixon. Day shift mindset is sit on a-- till 2:45 everyday then dump workload on 2nd shift. Second shift mindset,Race around n try to figure out what day shift f---ed up till 7pm then work like hell playing catch up under a half dozen millineal bosses that are clueless about the product the build.3 Rd shift mindset, pick up where 2nd left off try to stay awake ,n wonder why we're still working on the same sh-- we left Day shift.wash rinse repeat. Truth.

Well he didn't say it would be in January so it probably wasn't SEB.
