They need to raise their pay cap, not their starting wages

Sounds about right, raise the starting pay but totally screw those that have been there the longest and deserve it the most. Just like when they raised pay a couple years ago for new hires and screwed the rest of us, typical Walmart...

I’m from NJ and everyone who was not making $15/hr is now. This started at the end of December. Around Christmas. All of us C & D associates got raises by about $3-almost $5. If u hit the cap tho u did not get a raise. Yes all incoming associates start out w/ $15. I’m from the NYC metropolitan area so it could be that it happened for us b/c the cost of living is high here. I believe EVERY associate in the company should start w/ $15 no matter where u live.

No word on raises. But it’s doubtful.

So? And they'll cut hours to nothing. $100./hr. means nothing if one hour/week is all you're getting. If this is true, it's just a p.r. stunt WM is using to redeem their rotten image.

And to make up for the 23 associates going to $15 an hour the rest will have to drop to $6.50.

Yes but only new associates, the rest of us are stuck at our current wage like usual 👍
