Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Metrics has destroyed this company

SF traded quality service and experience for metrics set up for factory work and the company and its customers are paying a high price.

I wish the stupid commercials were the only thing bad about this sinking ship of a company. The commercials just prove they lost their way trying to follow bottom feeder companies that make funny commercials. We didn’t used to have to rely on mascouts and stupid commercials to sell our product, that’s for junk companies.

Yes, the worst commercials in the industry. They are embarrassing to say the least

I'd suggest shopping for rates if you think SF has the lowest rates. They're not even close where I live.

Data driven vs data informed.

The former ruins companies.

Previous poster: So destroying the company was "decades overdo?" Methinks you cannot read.

And no, "metrics" is not just another name for modernization.

Decades overdue sadly. Couldn't fight with Geico/Progressive/Allstate with 1980s methods. Metrics is just another name for modernization.
