Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

February 4th

22nd was the planned day but many orgs (possibly all) were not going to be ready by that day. So the layoffs were delayed to the 4th of February for most if not all orgs.

Two more weeks of this sh-- :)

Unless you are Mary Barra, their's really no way you can be sure. Perhaps your facility has been pushed out but all indications are that there will be fireworks today.

If that's true then this is classic GM. Can't even execute a layoff correctly and late to boot. That or they are just waiting to see how many more will leave on their own and save the company some more money. All a drop in the bucket compared to Mary Barra's $20+ million compensation package.
