Is it normal procedure to get a verbal warning if you call out within your first 90 days of employment even if you use your pto?? Does anyone know the answer to this?
I’ve never heard of this before.

If you properly followed the reporting procedure (i.e. didn't call out 5 minutes before you were supposed to be there), you should not have any sort of disciplinary action for a single call out.
If you did not, you're lucky to still have a job.
did you exceed your 4 points?
before using sick time pto?
be more responsible and show up for work !
you make us work harder!
show up or get points !
we know whi you are!
Wholefoods can separate anyone for any reason within 60 days. Only if u use SICK pto if ur state has that law then u are covered. But if there is no law bout sick pto in ur state n u just use regular pto it does not matter. U can still get a verbal after 60 even if u use pto. Bef 60 days no verbal needed, u can get separated. 60 days for part timers 30 days for full timers. But most tl use that if u really REALLY kcus n attendance is easy way to get rid of mistake hires. This is MA policy. Not sure bout other regions.
I would submit separation forms for a failed probation period depending on the circumstances.
