First: I'm responding here to someone I hope is legit. By this point on this forum, I'm no longer confident who is who. With that said:
You have to start with, for incomprehensible reasons, there are people in this world who enjoy starting and stirrng drama for others. They're emotional vampires who get off on watching other people running around in chaotic, useless circles, merely seeking assurance and comfort----but getting only more disinformation and anxiety instead. Knowing they're smugly safe behind internet anonymity, they've no reason to feafr the beat down they so richly deserve. ............. So do the next best: Ignore them.
As for what to expect with Walmart in particular, and retail in general? I think by now we can all see the trend: on line shopping is here, it's going to continue getting bigger, therefor in house shopping is going to continue getting smaller, and the best bet is to update that resume'. I strongly advise talking to a career advisor at a local college. Start checking your options. Be ready to change your game completely and re start from scratch. Scary as that is, it's far better than being unprepared and empty handed should things fall in around you.
Again, to those of you non trolls here: I wish you all the best. I know these are scary times....but you weren't born at your Wamart jobs. And you won't die there either.
