Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

What positions do WFM stores have that 365 stores do not?

https://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2019/01/17/whole-foods-365-locations-into-regular-stores.html

Now that 365 stores are converting to regular stores, what positions are changing? Do 365 stores have SSS, PBP, Demo, Concierge, etc? Mackey said we have used 365 to learn new things to apply to WFM stores. Does this mean WFM will get electronic tags and more self-serv options?

Electronic tags would be awesome as long as it's not Tagnetics. Tagnetics is terrible.

The electronic tags will hopefully end up in all Whole Foods. I’ve heard they’re awesome and save a ton of wasted hours spent on retagging each week

365 had a way better selection of vegan options (cheeses, yogurts and seasonal roasts) and private label items that regular whole foods stores don't carry in favor of higher priced brands. Really sux.

I was told those stores were designed for 20 something age group. That the card carrying AARP group wasn't important to wfm. Once again we can't believe what Mackey says.
