What vendors would be willing to supply Sears? What terms? Cash only?

In the dockets I never saw anything from MTD and Husqvarna which supply the bulk of their L&G power equipment.
They either ordered patio furniture before bankruptcy or had someone lined up, I was told they’re going to start getting it next week at our local store.
Stores will probably start to get third rate garbage from China...yeah that will bring in the new customers...
LG and Samsung will probably come back, along with the various Kenmore vendors. GE and Bosch are gone for good. No clue on mattresses, but apparently nearly every brand keeps having delivery dates slipped. No clue on anything in L&G. Tools has slowly been moving over from Apex and Western Forge (and multiple smaller suppliers) to Great Star. We’re still getting tons of new product from them (mostly stuff that was discontinued when the previous vendors pulled out.) Apex and a smaller vendor have filed with the BK court to force Sears to accept or reject POs, but I don’t recall seeing anything concerning Sears not having paid for already shipped merch. Dunno about KMart stuff.
That’s why they backed his bid. They get paid faster if Eddie wins and they continue shipping product instead of having to litigate the issue for years and only recover a fraction of what they’re owed.
Big ticket vendors seem to be waiting for the check to clear before shipping.
The bulk of the vendors are being paid in bankruptcy via Eddie’s cash in the bid. They didn’t get burned, they’ll continue to ship.
@hvr - Even though you posted accurate information, you got a down vote from me for your condescending attitude. Absolutely no reason or excuse for that!
@hvr Which hardlines vendors are coming back? My Kmart has been getting slammed by vendor shortages, especially in pantry
Probably doesn't help that the hardlines prez resigned.
We just got a whole bunch of new work boots and styles from Wolverine and Timberland.
Doesn't really bode well for the future, does it?
According to court filings concerning Eddie’s bid, a number of mostly softlines vendors are willing to extend credit to a “new” Sears for merch. Not much on the hardlines side though. Downvote away because you either can’t read the docs on PrimeClerk or have an irrational hatred of the truth.
