Harmon is here to stay, the way processing freight, recovery and ordering will be modified. Most Look terrible, putting people in charge that really don’t belong on the floor, customer service skills are so limited and let’s face it you get what you pay for, substandard work. It will be ok for some time but eventually it will come to and end and then the professional will have to take back over and clean up the mess. Cheap labor has its place and should always be overseen by someone that has spent the time and effort to educate and learn the process. There’s more to running a dept other than just unloading boxes!! Most of you will get it.

They are not doing away with HBC. They are trying to make it an efficient and profitable Dept- which means planning trucks and resets well. If they don’t need as many hours that’s fine. But no associate positions are getting cut. HBC is a growing Dept. Almost all new stores will have one, just minus the one makeup aisle.

First reply is a downright fabrication. Minimum wages for most of the new hires have to be over $10, it's the law!!!

Total BS, if EVERYONE making over $10/hr is on the chopping block, your logic would mean just about the entire workforce, and that does NOT even take into account the minimum starting wage for BBBY employees in many states at $10+ per hour, or $15/hour in some states. Pleeeeze give us all a break and stop this talk.
