Before PSI was ended our PSI was taking Lowe’s customers/leads and selling them through our contractor. Then he was giving her a cut under the table. Now our former PSI who is now openly partnered with our contractor is selling Lowe’s customers. The one cabinet specialist that is her friend is giving the former PSI Lowe’s customers info. And the cabinet specialist is getting a cut under the table. I’m in appliances & watch it happen all the time. But who would I report to?

By ending the PSI/GC Program, Lowes has removed the ability to offer installation of the necessary components of a Kitchen/Bath remodel that were previously provided by the GC. How is this that much different than referring the Customer to Lowe's Porch.com for installation services no longer offered by Lowes?
Could be they want the Customer to have a good experience with their Lowes Cabinet purchase by putting them in touch with an experienced GC to completed their Project.
The limited offering of Cabinet, Plumbing, Electrical, etc... installation services currently provided through Lowes Legacy Program is insufficient for many Customer's wanting to do a moderate to significant Kitchen/Bath remodel, thus requiring they hire additional contractors outside of Lowes to perform their Project.
Sounds like a best case for everyone, Design and Sell the Cabinets through Lowes and put the Customer in touch with an experienced GC that can perform the necessary work. Otherwise, continue the ongoing cycle of screwed up jobs, frustrated Customers and Compensation Checks...unless of course, the Customer makes the wiser and more obvious choice to make their purchase somewhere else.
If you have proof and facts, email Marv directly and see what happens. God bless.
Let me ask you this, Mr Lowes policy enforcer....What has Marvin done to earn your unabated alligence? Lets see, in the past 2 months he fired thousands of LP people, a good number of whom had given the company many years of service and planned on retiring from here. They were lied to about their severence and a good many of them are still waiting to see a dime. I would say Marvin violated policy. Lets take Marvins new "customer centric" schedule...No consecutive days off? Elimination of half of weekends? A clear message that he views his employees as garbage to be used, spit out and then replaced with younger, dumber, and cheaper. And a violation of Lowes policy which has been in place for decades... Just from these two examples Marvin has rendered "Lowes Policy" null and void. There is only one person I am looking out for the future. It aint you. It aint Marv. It aint Lowes Guess who? Yep. Its me.
Do whatever you want! If you have to ask......... do they care about you? Is it right? What it is?
For the person that said- "match up installer with customer" and give phone numbers, you are completely against policy. No one at Lowe's can refer someone to an installer outsde of our own installers. The issue is if something goes wrong. Lowe's gave me this installer. If you get caught, you could be terminated. Would you? Probably only if it turns into a problem. Stop breaking policies.
If they are still employed by Lowe’s, it’s cause for termination. No longer employed, as long as it doesn’t violate any signed no compete contract. It’s fair game. If they signed a no compete, it’s open for litigation. However, it’s commonplace, I doubt very seriously if Lowe’s would spend the time or money to pursue it.
This happens all the time and a good percentage of the time it is to help the customer or installer. The only difference is that i and others do not take a kickback.
Our installers have dwindled to a precious few because they won't make any money on some jobs. A storm door install that will take 2 plus hours and the installer will only clear 78 dollars or huge jobs with four patio doors they won't take either.
If they price the jobs themselves, they'll make a decent salary and do a better job.
We lost six installers when they rolled out CPO. The increase in paperwork, not getting paid in time and a dozen other headaches helped them leave.
The installers that replaced them are a sorry bunch. I would not feel comfortable letting them walk my dog nevermind putting up a $4000 front door with sidelites and transom.
I'll match up an installer and customer that will work well together and let them contact each other. They'll still buy the door from us and get it installed with everyone happy.
And I've never taken a dime from either side for the effort.
dang i wonder if i can work up a deal with some of my old cabinet peeps.... Here is what you do, go to the cabinet specialist, get the old PSI's phone number and see if they will pay you for doing the same thing. Screw Blowe's. God Bless
Blow the whistle. Bet you get immediate response. Of course if you were just laid off and call hr like a hundred times to find out where your severance is and you’ll get no response. HYPOCRISY!!
Lowes deserves to get ripped off.
Maybe another sign that Lowe's need to stop competing against the people they say they want to get more money from, the contractors and other professionals, byt getting out of installs completely?
Free Enterprise. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. God Bless.
You can call Lowe’s whistle blower line and report it. You don’t have to give your name.

I’m fed up with Lowe’s but that is stealing. If you’re afraid to report it at the store level. Then call the regional or corporate office. You can report it anonymously.
What your seeing happen is wrong and should be stopped!!!
