Topic for Discussion?

Since COP traded as pure E Dividend: $2.76/share

03-06-2019 closing share price: $68.29; Dividend: $1.22/share

Annualized Share price appreciation has been less than 3 percent

Dividends have decreased 55 percent

Shareholders have not done well

May need to re-visit executive compensation ( again) at shareholder meeting

Where is the love?

May 1, 2012 closing share price: $56.51/share; Dividend: $2.76/share

March 6, 2019 closing share price: 68.29/share; Dividend: $1.22/share

Since COP traded as pure E&P company as of May 1, 2012, share price has appreciated at an average annual rate of 2.8 percent and dividend has decreased 56 percent. Are those stock buybacks working? 2.8 percent annual share price appreciation seems meager.

You are so wrong! ConocoPhillips is one of the best stocks out there no doubt (in oil and gas). Wish it was as good for employees

Maybe you should just sell your shares if you are currently holding any? You just clearly pointed out very good reasons for liquidating your position. There are significantly better investment opportunities other than COP.
