Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Culp's comment.

The chief executive officer of General Electric Co., Larry Culp, said on Tuesday that the company's free cash flow will be negative in the current year, causing stocks to plunge over 7%.

Immelt was never this transparent.

Culp does not like the Toyota model or any model for that matter. He is bean counter and only likes cash. Can't convert GE into a bank fast enough. He cant understand why you guys can't just open the spiket and start pouring cash into his pockets. He'll never understand and doesnt want to understand. The sale of the fast growing but small bio division to his former company should tell u all what he is about.

well the power employee's are in for whole other set of cost reductions in FY 2019 based upon this conference call, YIKES! For the life of me I cannot seem to figure out why there are so many middle managers at power still. Also, expect some Toyota best practices to trickle into all GE business's. Culp like the Toyota quality model !
