So I posted my first job offer was a 28% pay cut. Ive been working that job just over a week. I now just received a job offer for contract for another large OEM in Michigan. This contract job is paying me $4k more than I made at GM, but benefits for my family are going to cost me about $700 a month!

so your contract job offer is a $4400 pay cut from GM and your current job is a 28% pay cut from GM. So the contract job is a better offer unless GM was paying you s**t
