I was hoping I'd get at least a job offer by now but still haven't heard anything. I am itching to get out of this crummy place!

It's America. Labor goes for the highest bidder. Congratulations on your new non-GM position. GM management has always been the most arrogant around; its only gotten worse with time.
Can I have your job? I am about to loose my house if I can't find something within the new month.
