Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Be A Team Player!!!!

Some (somewhat) upper employees are threatening the employees under them today. You know, the little guys that are just trying to be a team player and let their colleagues understand what’s going on... I guess that’s wrong and against WS policy? These people will get fired for talking truth? Yeah, higher up peeps aren’t trying to keep the peons calm... they really believe everything will be ok. I feel like we should be more scared than ever with just that thought!

Talking smack and informing people are two different things. Talking smack is just talking bad about something/someone. OP said that they were informing colleagues because there is so much ignorance going around and they feel like people should know things that management is either lying about or just leaving out altogether. Big difference.

Notice the “with approval from the court”. It’s not their decision, their business has been going down for years & anyone who has that much of a hard on that it will succeed may be very, very let down.

I remember we laid off 350 employees and claimed less than 20. Lol don’t stop believing.

We had an excel program we could run e#’s after layoffs to figure out the true number. You have to watch 30 days out bc they like to keep them off the radar.

Never forget the day my manager and coworker with kids was laid off via conference calll. I couldn’t believe it. You didn’t even give them dignity.

Now look at you with an outsourced HR department.
