Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

What are the chances that the company could survive Chapter 11?

I was hoping to get some opinions on this board. The way I see it not a lot of companies don’t survive Ch 11 put it’s not impossible. What are WS chances to go through this, if there are any?

They say a bank will bail out win with a substantial amount. This may very well be that jump start after chap 11. If earnings show promising figures then i dont see why they cannot make it.

Boy if we’re referencing Avaya we’re in trouble.

You’re not coming out of ch 11. You haven had a profit in years. The creditors are going to sell everything off once they get their hands on the books.

Couldn't we ask our partner Avaya how they survived?

100% they get through Chapter 11. Question is what percentage of current employees will get through it? There WILL be layoffs associated with this.

with the current disconnect rate and loss of talent, frustration of customer's fighting with people who don't speak native english while they are hard down i say 0.
