Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Beverages reorganized - Where will the bulk of the savings come from?

Looking bleak for Frito Lay, NAN & Quaker if any still around.

Beverages are heavy and require more cost due to Uncontrollable's.

I would expect FLNA to become 4 regions before 2023 - All of NAN and Quaker essentially gone...

If growth doesn't happen with chilled G Snacks to DSD expect 4 regions for all GTM by 2023 - Beverage snack combined will be the final synergy.

It's not bad just a future state of our business that we have to be aware of.

It is much easier to cut costs and carve out 1 billion than it is to organically grow revenue.

If you find "offense" to a future state of this industry you should probably take a severance or start looking for a new career. This is where we are and where we are going.

There is no long term strategy with anyone in leadership - only cost cutting initiatives to satisfy Wall Street and hit their net profit numbers. They have to find a way to grow our top line revenues and the senior leadership does not have a clue on how to accomplish this. Always remember that no company is ever successful cutting their way to prosperity.

The facts are they just announced a 2.5 Billion cost cutting initiative that will run through 2023.

Do you think they're going to remove front line employees making $50k per year? Some, but the bulk of the savings will be synergies between snacks and beverages. It's the only remaining "fat" left.

Point of OP is forward thinking where this thing is going.

Extremely helpful thread if you’re open minded.

Do you have any actual facts? Sounds like just your own speculation

Just stick with the facts people. Opinions are not helpful
