R&D not immune to current layoff. Certain group has got its notice that whole tram no longer part of strategic plans for Pepsico R&D. Unclear if this is the end for R&D layoffs this year or just the beginning.

Just to confirm at least one group in R&D is impacted (LSS group). Not sure when the other groups will suffer. In the new structure it is very clear that folks in nutrition category are excess to requirements.
Does anyone know when R&D will be impacted?
When is the current CSO supposed to retire? Is it going to be when the new CSO takes over? Any idea when will that take place?
What group was affected. Not sure why keeping that secret is important at this point.
R&D always comes after BU, after they get chance to align to the new BU structure. Just a matter of few months.
