Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

What Groups were hit at FLNA?

All,

What groups were affected by this weeks layoffs at the FLNA campus? Marketing, SC, Eng, R&D, Finance? Also, is this bomb as big as last years February m---acre? For those that are affected, count it as a blessing.....and BOYCOTT all of PepsiCo cancerous products.

I hear a that senior Frito R&D newcomers (new to the roles within the past 2 years) is wanting to layoff many long term people in the department and backfill them with people from Bev R&D. Just look at the leader of the group and many of her direct reports history. Why relocate these bafoons from NY and CHI? The trend is coming. BTW...the s--- ups (you know who you are) I am sure you are safe.

I hope this recent layoff doesn't affect our golfing off-sites in the Caribbean or our Thursday afternoons meetings ( at the golf course) , afterall, frivilous, wasteful travel is what FLNA is known for. alot of people at American Airlines depend on it.

It's amazing to me that Frito Lay would be losing people when they are the ones that are more profitable than the beverage end of the business.

R&D was not impacted this week. Any idea on when is R&D likely to be impacted?
