I repeat, the all store meeting is NOT mandatory. If your store manager tells you otherwise, he is lying. Store managers have to report turnout numbers to the district team. If turnout is low, the DM will question them as to why.

If you miss the meeting, you cannot be held accountable. If they tell you otherwise, contact district HR, then regional, etc.

Wow! Earth shattering. This will clearly bring Lowes to the forefront of retail.

Our store manager told the ASM of Ops in front of me, that everyone who didn’t come to the meeting would be sorry! He told him to schedule everyone who doesn’t show up on Closes and Mids for a month. The ASM just stood there looking like, WTF. And then the SM said, do you hear what I’m telling you?

Mangement only knows how to bully, and use force. We have always been told its "mandatory!" If you dont go, you are labeled. Choose wisely.

joke lowes is a joke

Its only as mandatory as attendance is if you are scheduled for it. Skipping it if you are on a final for attendance would not be a great idea. Otherwise, its not actually mandatory. In fact, i think calling it mandatory is a douche bag move. People should be encouraged to go, not forced. But this is lowes where the results justify the means.

I knew as much as the folks who attended, and I slept in at home.
