Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Dear lance seems to be unhappy with his main squeez

Apparently a source within the EXECUTIVES are unhappy with customer complaints late trains and inaccurate scheduling apparently his main squeeze Jim is not performing as claimed, although he is cutting the c-ap and hacking the heck out of the workforce and the UP fleet, the balance is not sitting well with several investors. The on the table let's take a chance, is starting to back fire on dear old genius Lance. Why would you risk your business, reputation and public relations. All for money. The problem is lance, he looks to push and alter the blame on everyone else. When he is the actual problem. In the last 21 yrs. The carloads have been nearly consistent at 180. Why cut your work force and not go get business, this arrogant idea that customers will be loyal to UP as the train is at this location you bring me your freight or go elsewhere is insane. So when the car loads drop even further and exec's. Expect there return then what ? You cut more employees. At what point do you go out and get business. Business, customers, are the one that pays the bills, keep having complaints, late trains, arrogant ideas BNSF,NS AND CSX will capture all of that small business. What your doing is running this company in the ground.

Lance and the others are now taking orders from Larry Fink (Blackrock Capital). Blackrock is calling the shots.

Let’s not forget Beth Whited who also has enabled this fiasco. A majority of the senior leadership must go, but will the replacement be any better? How do we fix a misaligned board of directors?

“What happens when the economy turns around?” The economy is doing well. 170k carloadings and record profits. Hate to see how they slash and burn in a bad economy!

Special Agents cut 40 percent. Last count I heard was 139 left, down from 225. That number will decrease even more with agents leaving the UP to find jobs with other police agencies.

Train crews left unprotected, cargo left to be pilfered at the mercy of burglars and no one left to remove trespassers or address bum camps.

Can’t wait to see how PRS effects Chicago and LA.

I was let go truly for no reason other that corporate greed. I’m trying to have faith in God and feel there is better out there for my family.

To all that read this post. Does UPRR need the Special Agent or is it a thing of the past and the job can be done with contractors and local law enforcement. Your thoughts?

UPRR police force is cut to a skeleton crew. All the cuts were to senior experienced officers. What happens when the economy turns? There will be no resources to protect crews and customers freight. Lance Fritz is focused on his bonus and not the big picture. Corporate greed at its finest. He will be laughing all the way to the bank.
