At what point will University of Phoenix be exposed for letting undocumented students use fake social security cards to get Title IV money?
Or are people too afraid of what UoPX will do to them?
DOE doesn't catch the fraud until its too late. One student can fake out a school with fake socials and fake info and get away with it for a while

Camden kid look into the McAllen, TX campus it was closed because majority of its students were illegal immigrants and spoke no English yet were enrolled at University of Phoenix.
Fake social security cards are easy to get and usually are not flagged by FAFSA until after funds have been issued because FAFSA relies on the school to prequalify its students. If FAFSA even catches the fake social the student usually takes the Pell Grant money and loans and vanishes.
@ John G, Mark Kantrowitz, an expert in financial aid, has suggested that it would be implausible that lots of people would get away with using fake social security cards for financial aid, because ED cross-checks social security numbers with birthdates. If he is wrong, this is a huge story that that needs to come out. If this happening at University of Phoenix, this needs to be exposed.

UOPX does NOT verify if a student has a GED or HS diploma. The only time its verified is when a student is selected for level 5 FAFSA verification. Level 5 requires that a student send in a copy of diploma or GED to the FAFSA office not to UOPX.here lies the problem only a small percentage of students are selected for level 5 and UOPX will start anyone right away. You could list a fake graduation date on your app or you could lie and list you got a GED either way you're allowed to start class and UOPX does NOT check so there are thousands of students that got into UOPX without a GED or HS diploma. If you work in Admissions/Enrollment/Academics and deny that we dont verify diplomas/GEDs you are lying! Hopefully, more students start to share their experiences.
As much as leadership has convinced me they have no clue what they are doing, we do NOT offer fake degrees. Highschool dropouts are not enrolled. The enrollment leadership provides NO leadership, but I still believe in our learning model

Camden everyone knows University of Phoenix is a joke everyone knows a high school dropout can get a fake degree from here. That's why good jobs reject people with fake degrees. Nobody's afraid of this. The losers who still work here know they can't get their level of pay anywhere else.
