Rumor is that the remaining IT employees will soon be transitioned to offshore vendors. Outsourcing Or Bust is the game plan and PepsiCo is apparently ready to sell FTEs to the vendor.

No, in 2014 it was rebadged to Hcl. We received no severance and if we chose not to accept the rebadge we were forced to walk. I refused and walked. The company is exactly what you would expect it to be. IT will be a c-ap show until they bring most of it back in house. Good luck is you are still left.... yours truly,, snake man ...

@skeleton company I work in IT and cant even get the support I need to do my job. Heck we even have to take a test to get basic access to the application required to push changes to production.
I am hearing the same but not for all IT. 100% outsourcing of services has been the productivity goal from the outset, no surprises there. If you are in IT services and think you will be there long term, you really need to think again. Any breathing room is only there because the vendors have not been able to deliver.
If you’ve had a tech issue lately, good luck come getting it fixed.
I work in sales. This company has very poor quality support from the outsourced departments and no administrative help.
My bosses want the world from me, but I don’t have basic support to do my job. So frustrating.
They said that there would be no more rebadging. Ever again. It was so badly done the last time.
@XHulVNE-orm in 2013 or 2014 they rebadged half of IT to Cognizant when build and sustain were first split into separate groups. You better believe they'd do it. This is perfectly on-brand for Pepsi.

It’s hard to imagine they would do that to all IT guys.
