Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

They want everyone to act business as usual

They want everyone to act business as usual so they can here everyone to the cattle catcher.

I’m sure part of the business will stay in tact but don’t be fooled, people are going to be relieved of their duties.

Before the end of March.

I think they have to put up money to appeal.

Just to ask for a appeal they'll need to come up with 300 million. Layoffs are coming no matter what they're doing.

Just wait for the counter suits and defaults. This is just the beginning. The only question is why aren’t they filing bankruptcy now.

The longer they wait the more people

Get slaughtered.

"According to its statement last Friday, Windstream now intends to appeal. This is welcome news for our fund, as it will require Windstream to post a surety bond exceeding $300 million. That surety bond will pay in full the notes our fund owns when Windstream loses the appeal. We are happy to take the surety company's credit over Windstream's."

of course they're going to appeal even if they have a snowball's chance in hell to win.

they will never admit they made a mistake. just give me a severance and i'm out of here.
