If they don't have a profile or at least an updated resume after all this - then employees only have themselves to blame for 'being caught by surprise' even though the writing has been on the wall the last two years...
Those that have been working on basically one technology the last 5 or 10 years should have branched out to learn other systems, don't want to be stuck without a job after WIN cans everyone and potential employers see that employee never took training classes or learned new skills.
WIN at one time had some decent online classes and with their vendors - depending on your job - you could take some online vendor classes that many offered for free.
This post was taken from another thread, so sorry if it look like it was ripped out of a conversation, but i felt that @XGumgW0-uwa gave a truthful observation that deserves a thread of its own.
