Let’s get back to discussing Cabelas layoff . This is my position in the final merger agreement the six directors drafting the agreement gave themselves around thirty million dollars severance packages and I believe tho other twenty thousand guarantee severance package was nothing. I might add Cabelas employees were forbidden to discuss the merger agreement in public because it was extremely important Cabelas spoke with one voice which was fair to everyone.

There are many types of people in the world. However one type of person I do not like is who act one way in church and one way out side of the church. Sounds like anyone who have spread untrue hurtful rumor after another. Sound like any one who will attack people who are trying to help others and correct pass mistakes. I will tell you something I haven’t ever been to a city council meeting and everyone know you posted the comment ‘well said” this could had been a site where people discuss ways to help each other out however . I don’t know any state senator. I have gotten phone calls from a United States senator . If you read my post again I asked if you wanted me to mention the comments to the senator you posted on this site concerning assistance’s for the cuy of Sidney . Everyone chill out. This is not going to happen. This is the same guy who got banned from speaking at City Council meetings. He does nothing except go on this board and ask others to take up his cause. He is convinced all of these posts are from the same person.

For your information there is a serious difference between charity and a severance package.

Handouts...more handouts....the US has become a welfare state....and this damn fool just keeps it going. Get up , go out and get a job and if you can't pay your bills, get another job. I had almost 100 thousand dollars of stock and I will donate to your fund to help if you can get this fund set up . I also am a resident of Sidney and would welcome any funds which could be raised to help the city of Sidney. You are asking for nothing and just volunteering your time to try and help Cabelas employees thru a differcult time. Good luck and try to ignore these nonsense insults.

So let me get this straight:

-You are going to ask our State Senator to allocate taxpayer dollars to be paid out to people who have been laid off from BP (which is a privately held company and headquartered in Missouri)

-Then you are going to tell the senator not to give any of the funds to Sidney-based employees because of comments made on the "thelayoffs" website?

I speak for myself and no one else the plan I propose resembles other plans proposed my other people worth billions and billions of dollars and without some assistance from others my plan will not work .however in the past I have gotten plans thru at Cabelas to improve employees benefits and I am going to try again to get a plan to help those effected by layoffs at Cabelas.
