Bakery RTC Logs

Is anyone else using these logs? At first we were using them only for same-day shelf life items, basically just pastries and bread. It actually consolidated the par, rack-up, and shrink processes into one sheet, which was pretty handy. However, this week we were given a new set which contains almost everything we sell in the entire department. So four times a day, someone is supposed to walk around and record how many items are left standing in the entire department. It’s absurd, especially since there’s never more than two or three of us in the department at a time thanks to draconian labor budgets.

I find it amazing that a company owned by Amazon depends on regular TM’s to track their sales trends with clipboards. I find it sad that a company whose customers are leaving because of empty shelves and understaffed departments decides that burdening employees with useless paperwork is the answer. These people are utterly delusional.

Haha! I remember they instituted those in Seafood... Everclean was supposed to check them. Never did once. Favorite part of OTS: Why so much paper and so many clip boards? Well there is an IT portion of the record keeping that's not quite up to speed with the rest of the program! Once that's in place though, man will it be great! Haha! It's in the actual SOP!

good luck .

we ate not customer driven anymore.

anyone can pull movement reports daily and track it the actual paper files no one checks them unless it’s that time of the month where you are being audited for ots.

it’s all fake paperwork never gets uploaded anywhere amazon never sees the paper work they just sit there until it’s irrelavent.

there are alot of better places to work at than whack foods farted no real incentive

They’ve just come to our store in the south region. And we don’t have a TL, haven’t had one for months. It’s ludicrous to make people record data that should be done by a computer instead of taking care of the customer. We don’t have enough labor to do it. I still can’t believe Amazon let WFM leadership continue to flush the company down the drain.

These were put in use 6 months ago in Roseville, so where has your TL been, playing golf?
