Dept managers c ad d all have to work week ends

Told this week all dept managers have to work 3 weekends a month starting week 5.

It's only one weekend day to work not both. Either Sat/Tues off or Sun/Wed off.

"C" only required to work one weekend a month. "D" only gets one weekend off a month.

I hate to say it but I do think it's coming. I actually think the title "department manager" is going to change too. think about it if dm start working 3 out of 4 Saturday or sundays then the company restructures the dm role it would be hard to say we are not available on weekends when we have already doing it. I personally feel supervisory positions are going to be downsized. Due to technology the dm role has drastically changed. Save money to make a profit is the name of the successful business game.

We are collateral damage. 😟
