The Wine Train note is true. I just checked there on winetrain.com/careers/ . They are also looking for conductors, engineers.

Previous post is right. We were told the same in Chicago locomotive. Expect not to know month to month if you have a job and be notified about mid month. Supposedly directors discuss on calls as to when to announce in advance but the last round it multiplied a few days unexpectedly before the cut from what was originally planned. Don't see it being any different for LA. Good luck to you all.

Workforce numbers will be discussed on monthly labor calls. More cuts can come after any one of those calls. Anything other than that is pure speculation, for locomotive anyways.
